What we mean by ‘longevity, purpose + positive impact’.

To us, positive impact means a lot of things. It brings value, improvements, or solutions to a situation or problem, which often leads to lasting and meaningful changes (there’s longevity and purpose creeping in again).

Meet Our Founders

Ben and Ness are the heart of Hello Mellow, in every sense. Their journey as both life and business partners began with a shared passion for design—and, surprisingly, they’ve managed to work together without driving each other mad. Their secret sauce? A mix of love, respect, and a healthy appreciation for each other’s unique strengths. It’s been the foundation of their partnership since they started working together in 2007.

After years in their sunny South Melbourne studio, a global pandemic had other plans. The building they were renting was sold while Victorians were stuck working from home, prompting Ben and Ness to hit pause and rethink the creative landscape. With no studio to return to and a newfound perspective that work could happen from anywhere, they added ‘Doing What We Love’ to Hello Mellow’s core values and made the move to Torquay, Victoria. While Hello Mellow still keep an office location in South Melbourne, our roots are now firmly planted in the Surf Coast allowing Ben the (more than) occasional surf and Ness a healthy dose of vitamin sea. While they may be further away from the ‘big smoke’ the change of scenery has done wonders for creative output and put them in touch with some amazing like-minded local clients doing wonderful things for the world. #VitaminSea4Eva
